The Herkimer Diamond Sluice Bag is a treasure-filled sand bag containing multiple Herkimer Diamonds of different sizes and grades. All Herkimer Diamonds found in our sluice bags are mined directly from the Herkimer Diamond Mines. 

The Herkimer Diamond is a beautiful, double-terminated quartz crystal found in Herkimer, New York. These phenomenal gemstones are close to 500 million years old. The crystals are magnificent works of nature, having a diamond-like geometrical shape.  

To find your treasures, simply strain the material using water to reveal your gemstones! Sluicing can be done using a sifting pan or using household items such as a strainer or colander.
